ABSTRACT
This research was carried out to investigate the relationship between land use difference with P and N content in river water around Motakan rice field and Rembangan plantation. Sample of water was taken five times for six months in triplicate. Determination of total P was done spectrophotometrically and total N was carried out by using Kjeldahl method followed by potentiometry methods. Data obtained was analyzed using single factor analysis of variance with a = 0,05. The results showed that for the whole data no significant difference in content of total P and N between Motakan and Rembangan river. However, some of the samples showed a significant difference if the analysis of variance was applied.
